THANK YOU, Dear Music Lover, for supporting Inside a Melody. What you are hearing is the result of five years of dedication. There were many times when my sister Amy and I thought this project would never see the light of day. The struggle was too difficult and drawn out, the rejection overwhelming. I wanted to roll over. BUT...here we are now, on the other side of the tunnel, and it is a feeling so deeply satisfying that words can never do it justice. It’s fair to say, the birth of this project is a miracle which transformed my life - not just musically, but even geographically.

There are many to thank - but I want to especially acknowledge two special people: Amy Anderson (Woodstock, NB), and Bill Stevenson (Halifax, NS), the captains of my ship. Thank you for holding the course with me, and for letting your imagination and expertise be my co-pilot. Bill Stevenson deserves much more acknowledgement and recognition in the Canadian jazz scene than he receives. He is, in my opinion, a true original - not to mention a fantastic piano player, producer, and musician. Thank you Bill, for taking a chance on total strangers.

What can I say about my sister Amy, (who learned how to MAKE A MOVIE for the first time for this project)....WOW! You did it!! You did not waver, and you showed me what perseverance really means. You lead by example. Thank you for your dedication, imagination and intelligence. I am grateful for your guidance.
